- Works with
- YouTube, TikTok and Instagram Reels links, or a video file
- It reads
- Every step, with the numbers shown on screen
- Costs about
- 60–120 credits, by the video’s length
Paste a tutorial. Say “do this”.
Drop the link in the panel and say what to take from it. Cue watches the video, notes every step with the settings it reads off the screen, and rebuilds it with your layers, text and colours.

Brief it in plain words.
Add a lower third that says “Jane Doe, Producer”, sliding in from the left with a smooth ease
- Reading the composition
- Adding text
- Adding a shape
- Animating
- Easing the motion
- Looking at the result
Added “Jane Doe” and “Producer” on a bar, sliding in over 14 frames from 0:00:00:10. Want it to slide out at the end too?

Make the logo pop in with a little overshoot, then bring the tagline up after it

The logo scales 0 → 112% → 100% by frame 21, and the tagline fades up 12 frames later.

Stagger every layer in this comp by 3 frames, top to bottom

Rebuilt the kinetic type from the video on “SPRING SALE”. A restore point is saved if you want the old one back.

Make the camera shake a little, and give me a slider for how much
- Inspecting a layer
- Adding a null
- Exposing a control
- Writing an expression
- Looking at the result
The camera now wiggles, driven by a Shake slider on a null. Set it to 0 to turn it off.

A lower third
Text, a bar behind it and an ease you can open in the Graph Editor. Two named layers, ready to restyle.
A logo that pops
Overshoot written as three real keyframes, not an expression you can’t read. Drag them to change the timing.
Forty layers, staggered
The tedious part in one go. It also renames, relabels, precomposes and lines things up.
A tutorial, followed
Paste a YouTube, TikTok or Reels link. It takes the technique and applies it to your own layers.
A shake you can dial
wiggle, loopOut, sliders. Written for you, and explained in plain words if you ask.
Nothing hidden.
Every step on a track
Each change is a keyframe: hollow while it works, filled when done.
It checks its own work
It looks at the frame after a change and fixes what looks wrong.
Links welcome
Paste a YouTube, TikTok or Reels link straight into the box.

Questions
- How do I get access?
- Early access is invite-only while we polish Cue. Leave your email at the top of this page and we’ll email you when your spot opens.
- Do I need a credit card to try it?
- No. You get 300 free credits when you sign up, with no card. You only pay if you choose a plan or a top-up later.
- Which versions of After Effects does it work with?
- After Effects 2024 (24.0) or newer, on macOS 14 Sonoma or newer (Apple silicon or Intel) or Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).
- Will it mess up my project?
- It only changes what you ask for, in the comp you have open, and every change is a normal step in Edit ▸ History, so Cmd+Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) steps back through them. Before big changes it can save a restore point of the comp and put it back when you ask.
- What is a credit?
- About one cent of AI usage. A small change takes about 5–10 credits, a build about 20–40, and following a tutorial about 60–120. The panel shows what each request used.
- Is my footage uploaded?
- No. Your project and footage stay on your computer. While it works, the panel sends your message, the layer details it reads and the frames it checks. Tutorial videos you link are analysed by Google Gemini.
- What can’t it do yet?
- Make footage, photos or illustrations from nothing, or reliably drive third-party plugins it can’t inspect. It follows a tutorial’s technique rather than copying every pixel, and it needs an internet connection. It gets you most of the way; your eye does the rest.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes, from your account page in two clicks. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, and top-up credits stay on your account.
