Four steps to your first animation

Once the installer is downloaded, these take about five minutes.

1. Install Cue

   About a minute remaining

   Go BackContinue

   Open the installer

   Open Cue-x.y.z.pkg from your Downloads folder and follow the steps.

2. After EffectsFileEditCompositionLayerEffectAnimationViewWindowHelp

   • About After Effects
   • Settings ▸
   • Hide After Effects ⌘H
   • Hide Others ⌥⌘H
   • Quit After Effects ⌘Q

   Restart After Effects

   Quit it completely and open it again, so it picks up the new panel.

   • Workspace ▸
   • Extensions ▸
   • Align
   • Character
   • Effects & Presets
   • Info
   • Paragraph
   • Timeline

   • Cue

   Open the panel

   Choose Window ▸ Extensions ▸ Cue. Dock it wherever you like.

   Cue works inside your open project. Everything it builds is ordinary After Effects work, so you can tweak it by hand or undo it.
